Krewe of Orleans was established in 2014 by a diverse group of Louisiana natives. The organization was formed with the purpose of bringing a unique culture to the DFW Metroplex.
The anticipated Krewe of Orleans Annual Mardi Gras Ball is the largest Mardi Gras Ball in Texas. Krewe of Orleans aka K.O.O., Royal Court, Mardi Gras Indian, Secondliners and a brass band are some of the sights and sounds that make our ball captivating. Krewe of Orleans has successfully transported the authentic Mardi Gras experience to DFW.
Krewe of Orleans is also known for our Krewemunity (community) outreach. K.O.O believes in giving back by donating proceeds from our annual Krewe of Orleans Mardi Gras Ball and Royal Couple's Summer Breeze Soiree to local charities. Community involvement includes feeding the homeless, donating to hurricane victims, providing personal items and clothing to local shelters. We also organized and participate in "Secondline for the Cure" in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure!
Krewe of Orleans is actively involved year-round throughout the DFW Metroplex community.
